Hello! My name is Bob Bitner.
I’ve been tattooing since 2001. It’s hard to sum up the experiences and ebb and flow of that time in even a few paragraphs, but here’s an introduction..
I started out simple. I worked in a busy walk in street shop, replicating flash off the walls and learning the foundations of tattooing. It was all about understanding the craft, technique and application. It wasn’t until 10-12 years into that journey that I finally realized it was not only ok, but necessary for me to find my voice within the industry.
I’m gratefully more in love with tattooing and creating now more than ever before. I currently specialize in photo realism/surrealism, but I’m always learning and evolving, as an artist and a human.
I co-founded the Catalyst Arts Collective in Kansas City Missouri in 2012. With that vehicle, I aim to inspire and push everyone I meet to be the best version of themselves as possible. As artists and people, respectively.
I was introduced to Fusion Ink and since that time, I’ve never looked back. The absolute spectrum of colors is unmatched. They set a standard that is uncompromising. Fusion has made my pallet choices and combinations virtually endless!

BOB’S FAVORITE FUSION COLORS
Solid rich lighter orangish-brown. Another good tone for neutral brown tones and portraits.
A thinner creamy light yellow tone that is really white based and can be used to lighten colors.
Not brown, not maroon, not purple, not black based but works perfectly with all four. A very versatile color.
Commonly becoming the most popular red due to its rich solid tone, It’s slightly deeper than “Really Red”.
A really rich pinkish-orange red. Stays super solid and makes a great bridge between reds.
