I am 33—been tattooing almost 15 years and reside in the Rocky Mountains in Canmore, Alberta Canada with my wife Beth, daughter Isla and dog Bullet. When I’m not tattooing, I like to paint, airbrush, play hockey, snowboard, box, read comics and play video games. I own (at work at) Electric Grizzly Tattoo. We have been open almost 5 years and grateful for the awesome crew I get to work with and the variety of guest artists we are lucky to work beside and learn from. DEREK’S FAVORITE FUSION COLORS
Super vivid orangish-red tone. Perfect mid tone when mixing in the warm colors. Goes in easy.
Commonly becoming the most popular red due to its rich solid tone, It’s slightly deeper than “Really Red”.
Nice bright minty blue. Can be used as a alternative break down tone for darker tones.
This royal blue is a solid rich blue tone. Makes a great break down down for lighter tones.
The name says it all. Super bright rich pink. One of the tones that is a must have.
A light creamy flesh tone. A great break down tone for any color family.
