JUSTIN HARTMAN
Hi, I’m Justin.
I was born and raised in Colorado. My tattoo career started in Mesa Arizona, and I have been living in San Diego since 2014. I’ve been tattooing for 17 years.
My work is inspired by comic books, art nouveau, and real life. My goal is to capture a feeling or emotion in each piece, and make it look and fit as if it was always meant to live on that person's body. I strive for simplicity and high contrast with a realistic feel.
My first love is and always will be drawing. I also like to paint, mostly with liquid acrylic but am experimenting with and trying to learn oils. I love coffee, tequila, and Spider-man. Hopefully one day that combination will land me a Marvel cover.
JUSTIN’S FAVORITE FUSION COLORS
A bright orangish-yellow tone. Works as a good break down to brown and orange tones.
The yellow tone of the pastel family. Makes a great option to lighten warmer colors like reds, oranges and yellows.
Not brown, not maroon, not purple, not black based but works perfectly with all four. A very versatile color.
